Here is something interesting. It’s a short documentary to introduce the new ‘Watch the Throne‘ album on wich Kanye West and Jay-Z are joining forces. The video was on Youtube and Vimeo but has been removed. Fortunatly Internet Mogul Nalden has it up on his blog.
They have released one track already and I like it a lot! The track is called Otis and features a sample from Otis Redding’s classic Try A Little Tenderness
I’m looking forward to this album. I hope that the balance between old school Hip Hop and that “new thing” is equivalent. With this album to be released on August 8 I’m expecting a big performance by Kanye at the MTV VMA’s later that month. Perhaps Jay will join in…
